Strict Enforcement
SpotMe is not a public utility; it is a private, exclusive network. We reserve the absolute right to remove any member who violates these terms without warning or refund.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the SpotMe mobile application or website ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you are expressly prohibited from using our Services and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
To maintain the integrity of our network, specific eligibility rules apply:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use SpotMe. Using the app under the age of 18 is a direct violation of these Terms.
- Identity Verification: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. SpotMe reserves the right to request biometric or ID verification at any time to combat catfishing and fraud.
- Account Security: You are strictly responsible for safeguarding your password and account details. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Community Rules & Prohibited Conduct
SpotMe relies on real-time location data, which requires an immense degree of trust. You agree NOT to:
- Harass or Stalk: Use proximity features to follow, track, or harass other users in the physical world without their explicit, ongoing consent.
- Scrape or Bot: Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to access, copy, or index any portion of the Services or user data.
- Solicit Illegally: Use the app for prostitution, illegal drug sales, or any other unlawful activity.
- Spoof Location: Use GPS spoofing software or VPNs to manipulate your location on the Live Radar.
4. Creator Tier & Subscriptions
Users who utilize the Creator Tier to earn revenue must adhere to the following:
- Content Guidelines: All paywalled content must comply with our community standards. Explicit adult content (pornography) is strictly prohibited on the Creator Tier.
- Payouts: SpotMe processes payouts monthly. We reserve the right to withhold payouts if fraud, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms are suspected.
- Subscriptions: Premium and Creator subscriptions are auto-renewing. You may cancel at any time through your device's app store settings, but refunds for partial months are not provided.
5. Limitation of Liability
SpotMe is a platform that facilitates real-world connections. We do not conduct criminal background checks on all users (unless explicitly stated via a Verification feature). You interact with other users at your own risk.
In no event shall SpotMe, its directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or your real-world interactions with other members.
6. Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
If you are banned, you may not create a new account under a different name, email, or device ID. We actively fingerprint and block devices associated with banned accounts.
